Two ways to pay

Everyone can pay one friend, who pays the business, with the transaction fee shared fairly. Or everyone pays the business directly, even across several Paybills, Tills or phone numbers in one bill.

Honest by design

SplitMate never holds money and does not connect to Safaricom, so “Marked as paid” is a confirmation made by a person, not a verified M-PESA transaction. Payment links reveal only one person's share.
